The Strategy Specialist POD Leader oversees business development and strategy goals for an assigned territory called a POD and serves as the Strategy Lead in a nursing center. This individual provides support and guidance on processes and activities that can positively position nursing centers within the community and catalyze census growth.
Position Highlights
*Provides leadership support and supervision of all POD business development strategies.
*Organizes nursing center sales and marketing resources around market dynamics, referral sources, decision-makers, and influencers.
*Responsible and accountable for meeting and exceeding occupancy and census revenue goals.
*Works with business development team members and nursing center leadership to continuously improve systems that directly impact occupancy.
*Provides support, coaching and proactive management of the business development team members to enhance performance, encourages sister nursing facility collaboration, and offers talent development for all business development representatives.

*Four-year degree required. Master's degree in business administration, marketing, or health care management preferred.
*Five to 7 years' experience in the healthcare industry required and regional healthcare market experience preferred.
*Multi-facility management experience or health care product or service sales experience preferred.
*Adept in using computer to document activities.
*Must be flexible in scheduling priorities and able to travel as needed.
