Summary:
Partner with Behavioral Health leadership to develop a tiered, multi-modal approach to disseminating the philosophical principles and corresponding skills of Trauma Informed Care (TIC), throughout the Summa Health System. Facilitate didactic and experiential Trauma-Informed Care training for individuals and multi-disciplinary teams. Model the use of TIC in both clinical and management settings, for the purpose of education and training. Coach the identified 'Champions of Trauma Informed Care' on how to best support widespread adoption of TIC principles in their respective areas. Provide as-needed consultation relative to how the Trauma Informed perspective, and techniques therein, may support initiatives around patient care, employee satisfaction and workplace culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor's degree in a compatible field, such as psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health field.
b. Formal education in the philosophy of trauma informed care is required.

2. Experience & Training Required:
a. Three (3) years' experience in a leadership role that has provided leadership skills to include:
i. Experience in a facilitator or training role to be required.
b. Experience in training others in the TIC model and/or leading a system-wide TIC implementation is preferred.

3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Ability to demonstrate depth of understanding of the concept of trauma informed care is required.
b. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
c. Ability to clearly communicate to a wide range of professionals, with varied levels of education and experience.
d. Natural teacher abilities.
e. Good organizational skills, to manage workloads across multiple platforms.
f. A solid mix of group skills and individual motivation
g. Empathy for victims of trauma that comes across naturally.

4. Level of Physical Demands:
a. Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.

$27.82/hr - $41.73/hr
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
