Essential Job Functions

The Treasury Analyst will support several aspects of the Firm's Treasury, Cash Management, and Partner Accounting activities. This includes responsibilities specific to day-to-day banking functions and related analysis, preparation of journal entries, assisting in the administration and renewal of insurance policies (non-benefit), partner compensation arrangements, loan programs, and special projects as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)
  • Support daily cash administration and analysis; assist in recommending borrowing strategies through cost analysis, modeling, and analytics.
  • Verify and process wire payments and ACHs, ensuring proper coding and approval, and prepare/record related journal entries.
  • Provide support on non-benefit insurance matters (primarily Property/Casualty, General Liability, and Workers' Compensation), including the annual insurance renewal process, certificates of insurance, claims management, and payment of premiums.
  • Assist on various highly confidential and sensitive matters, including monitoring compensation arrangements and loan documentation for partners.
  • Assist with Cash Flow modeling/forecasting, borrowing cost analysis, etc.
  • Support the administration of the Firm's credit agreement, including monthly reporting and Letters of Credit.
  • Reconcile partner capital accounts and review interest payments on capital loans and cash flow loans. Preparation of auto load files for related quarterly interest deductions.
  • Assist in the TMS system implementation and testing.
  • Participate in other treasury-related tasks/projects as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • The Treasury Analyst will preferably have at least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or treasury/cash management role in a law firm or professional services industry, showing progressive growth in responsibilities, however, will also consider candidates without experience that exhibit the aptitude and desire to learn and grow in the Treasury function.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
  • Candidates should be detail oriented, possess strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and have an understanding of finance, banking, insurance, and accounting concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to take ownership of his/her assigned responsibilities with limited supervision.
  • Individuals are expected to exhibit strong customer service, be highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Elite 3E Elite is a plus.

Technologies/Software
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are required
