Treasury Analyst

LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading distributor and processor of metals in North America, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The company supplies a broad array of metal products, including stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel and alloy steels, to a variety of industries.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Treasury Analyst to join our client's treasury team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash management and treasury operations, along with excellent analytical skills and experience with large treasury systems. Treasury Analyst Responsibilities:

• Manage and calculate daily cash positions for the US and Canada, executing ACH and wire transfers, making FX spot trades and reporting daily cash flows
• Handle daily debt decisions, perform interest calculations, reconcile and execute debt and interest payments
• Perform reconciliation of cash activity in the treasury workstation and collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Determine and manage ACH debits and positive pay exceptions
• Prepare a budget for bank service fees, analyze actuals compared to the budget and research and resolve variances
• Lead treasury management system maintenance, administration and functionality changes
• Partner with accounts payable to manage cash outflows and gain visibility into projected payments
• Support the integration of acquired companies from a treasury perspective, including bank account structure, payments and migration to corporate treasury systems
• Perform other duties as assigned, with responsibilities and activities potentially changing at any time with or without notice

Treasury Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 1+ years of experience in cash management or treasury operations
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience with Kyriba or large treasury systems is a plus

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
