Treasury Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our client's finance team in Oak Brook, IL. As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial assets, liquidity and risk exposure. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient cash management, optimize investment strategies and mitigate financial risks.

Treasury Analyst Responsibilities:

• Execute daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, forecasting and liquidity management
• Monitor and analyze cash flows to identify opportunities for optimizing working capital efficiency
• Maintain banking relationships and negotiate banking services to minimize costs and enhance operational effectiveness
• Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare periodic cash flow forecasts and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities to maximize returns on surplus cash
• Manage foreign exchange exposure and execute hedging strategies to mitigate currency risk
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support treasury-related initiatives and projects

Treasury Analyst Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in corporate treasury, banking or financial analysis role
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management principles and financial instruments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
