TS/SCI Help Desk Support Service Specialist

-Under general supervision, provides second-tier support to end- u for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware.
- Handles problem that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
- Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
- Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
- Maintains currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise. Escalates more complex problems to Senior Level.
- Position may require lifting objects up (IT hardware, installation, pulling cables)
Schedule:
- Fully on site
- Shift work (2nd or 3rd shift with rotating weekend shifts every 6-7 weeks)
- Expected to work on holiday shifts
Hourly Pay Rate Range (Depending on Experience) $28.79/hr-$33.36/hr

Required Skills & Experience
- TS/SCI clearance (willing / able to obtain CI poly)
- BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience or Associates degree with 7+ years of experience
- Security + certification
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Computing Environment Cloud Practitioner Certification (Can take course following start; 3 day course)
- Previous experience at NGIC
