Unit Coordinator - Lunder 7 - Neurology
We are seeking an experienced administrative profession for a highly visible role within our prestigious Lunder 7, Neurology unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Lunder 7 is a 32- bed adult neurosciences unit that regularly admits patients with strokes, head and spinal trauma, as well as general Neuromedical and neurosurgical patients. Lunder 7 is seeking a full-time Unit Coordinator, with Day and Evening availability, and to provide rotational holiday coverage.
As a Unit Coordinator, you will play a critical role in patient care by serving as the central source of information by communicating with patients, families and medical staff. You will transcribe medical charts for patients to ensure that all of their medical treatments and procedures are carried out. The position requires a high degree of accuracy and strong communications skills.

• Medical or health care experience desirable, but willing to train otherwisequalified candidates.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and procedure

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with diversegroups of patients, staff and provider
• Demonstrated ability to solve basic patient and practice problem
