Our client, a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials is seeking a Program Manager to work on a contract basis with the potential to convert perm/FTE based on performance. The primary focus of this role is New Product Development (NPD) projects aimed at developing new or revised commercial products but may also include other defined projects such as business development, process improvement, or systems implementation.The ideal candidate will have analytical skills, prioritization skills and take direction well which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $45-50/hr.

Schedule: Hybrid M-F 8am-5pm

What's the Job?
  • Support cross-functional teams in NPD projects by managing project schedules, interdependencies, and critical-path activities.
  • Lead RGM meetings, facilitate Global Core Team meetings, and ensure timely completion of action items. Proactively manage projects to minimize schedule risks and escalate issues as needed.
  • Verify accuracy of cost estimates and product initiation requests in CRM, and administer product approvals.
  • Maintain well-organized project documentation accessible on MS Teams.
  • Collaborate with Quality to manage the Management of Change Process for NPD, and assist PMO and Strategic Planning on various ad-hoc projects.

What's Needed?
  • 3-5 years of non-IT project management experience and consumer products or marketing communications experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Adaptability to interact cross-departmentally and work effectively at multiple levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Leadership skills and problem-solving abilities
