Our client within big tech, is looking for a UX Research Operations Specialist to join their team! The team consists of a cross-functional mix of researchers, engineers, data scientists, and recruiters, all working together to build advanced in-house research systems, which in turn enable the product teams and designers we serve to build advanced features for the website and mobile apps. This is an ideal role for an individual who loves to contribute order and structure to processes and documentation, and to ensure that the many hundreds of global research studies conducted every year are tracked and policy compliant.
  • Rate: $50hr
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the scrum master for our engineering team, ensuring that work sprints proceed orderly with proper documentation.
  • Create systems and processes for keeping track of all global survey work, ensuring everything is organized, documented, and policy compliant.
  • Work with internal teams like Security, Legal, and Procurement to advance processes and track approvals.
  • Field inbound requests for new survey projects and route them to the appropriate person.
  • Work with product teams on onboarding and education as they navigate our research systems.
  • Engage in light project management and vendor management tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years in a similar role within a tech, analytics, or research department.
  • Expert Jira and Excel skills, solid experience with Airtable, Monday.com, or similar productivity tools and/or a willingness to teach yourself new tools are a big plus.
  • Extreme attention to detail, diligence in task completion, and a determined persistence to see difficult projects through to completion.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter willing to operate in a large and bureaucratic company with little structure or process, yet provide structure and process as you progress through it.
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods is a big plus.
