Work you'll do:
  • Grow, govern and optimize a world-class, constantly evolving vendor roster that both meets the diverse needs of our teams and factors near- and long-term demand while balancing cost considerations
  • Establish a model to support Deloitte's diverse supplier objectives by fostering new relationships and capitalizing on existing partnerships, elevating diverse vendor capabilities internally, and tracking and socializing spend growth with the Office of Business Diversity
  • Drive brand strength and protection through a streamlined vendor engagement process that includes the appropriate channel reviews to support Deloitte's brand platform
  • Cultivate a community of professionals that work with vendors at a high frequency and/or spend rate; equip them with a playbook, set clear expectations on roles and responsibilities, and govern their engagements in an effort to help the organization meet our mission critical objectives
  • Foster productive and mutually successful relationships with new and existing vendors, and coordinate vendor presentations to provide recommendations supporting projects across Marketing, Brand & Communications
  • Develop positive relationships across the firm with teams including, but not limited to, Marketing Account Managers, Producers, Marketers, Creative, Strategy, Procurement, Legal, Risk and Compliance. Connect the dots between workstreams and teams to further the development vendor management
  • Onboard external vendors into Deloitte internal databases and compliance systems; coordinate negotiations on contract and other legal documents
  • Construct, implement, and communicate a process to streamline vendor engagement, including selection counseling, governance and reporting that drives effectiveness and identifies efficiencies in external spend
  • Review, interpret and train Marketing teams on firm policies related to third-party engagements. Advise Marketing colleagues on third party processes including: Deloitte's complex TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) system, contracts, and invoicing
  • Educate marketing colleagues on vendor engagement best practices from contract/SOW negotiations, building strong relationships, delivering feedback, and partnering for success
  • Perform ad hoc tasks related to third parties across Marketing including but not limited to brand training and vendor evaluations
  • Be ready to jump into new projects; ideate, pivot and/or optimize based on organizational priorities and new initiatives
The successful candidate will possess:
  • Experience sourcing and working with vendors, including negotiating contracts, developing SOWs, assessing capabilities, and acting as match maker between projects and vendors
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders
  • An understanding of how to communicate priorities, mitigate impacts, and manage multiple technical projects with competing deadlines and stakeholders, and where requirements often change
  • Executive presence with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, provide rationale, and advise leaders and their teams on your areas of expertise and ownership

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Marketing and project management. Experience working in Creative Agencies, Marketing teams, and/or Procurement Marketing Category is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Procurement, Operations, or related discipline
  • Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
  • Ability to travel up to 5%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88600 to $163100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
