This pivotal role is designed to enhance our military recruiting programs and broaden our reach through strategic partnerships and targeted initiatives. With a focus on scaling our efforts, the Veteran Talent Program Lead will drive recruitment strategies that align with our Skills-first initiatives, ensuring a robust and diverse pipeline of military talent.

In partnership with our Veteran's Leadership Network (VLN), the Veteran Talent Program Lead is strategically and tactically responsible for our military recruiting programs with Hiring Our Heroes & DOD SkillBridge. This role acts as a liaison between Global Talent Acquisition, VLN, and the organizations across the enterprise by assessing business needs, developing, and executing military and veteran recruitment strategies, programs, and tools that support business objectives and Skills-first initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities first 3 months:
• Assess and optimize current recruitment strategy for external partners, military bases, and transition/veteran centers on military installations
• Create strategic framework to scale military recruiting programs with Hiring Our Heroes & DOD SkillBridge
• Consult on training plans for our new DOD SkillBridge opportunities and support related recruitment activities
• Recruit for and provide program support for Hiring our Heroes cohorts .

Responsibilities 3 - 12 months:
• Maintain responsibility for driving veteran engagement, recruitment, and program support activities related to Skill bridge programs
• Research and recommend innovative programs, partnerships, and talent pipelines that can enhance current military and veteran talent attraction strategies across the enterprise
• Develop excellent relationships with external vendors, military bases, and transition/veteran centers on military installations to promote our company and find unique ways to attract candidates
• Build candidate pipelines and develop local networks to ensure a constant flow of qualified candidates using a variety of sources, by utilizing social media and network contacts, internet postings, database searches, and community outreach initiatives to create veteran candidate pools
• Build long-term, value-added relationships with passive and active military/veteran prospects, and support content delivered to our veteran talent community
• Oversee and drive participation in national military events and recruiting conferences.
• Leverage data and analytics to inform and adjust strategy, implementation, and partnership delivery against program goals
