Insight Global is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to drive growth and boost performance of a software solutions company based in Maryland. This role will be key in advancing operational excellence, optimizing processes, and motivating teams with a positive, solution-focused approach. This leadership position will be heavily involved in and responsible for strategic planning, prioritizing competing initiatives, and working with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and scalability. Day to day responsibilities include:
Partner with Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive operational efficiency in alignment with organizational goals.
Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
Address and resolve complex operational issues to restore efficiency and streamline processes, ensuring effective solutions for critical challenges.
Provide oversight of Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Business Development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee operational budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Lead and mentor senior managers and teams to foster collaboration and accountability, while building strong relationships with employees, clients, and stakeholders to promote a success-oriented and accountable environment.
Champion a culture of accountability by establishing clear performance standards, monitoring progress, and holding team members responsible for their outcomes and commitments.
Provide regular feedback to CEO and leadership team on operational performance, key challenges, and emerging opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related discipline; or equivalent skills and experience required
8-10+ years Operations experience in a technology related industry
4-5+ years of oversight in operational projects, programs/practice areas, and successful people leadership experience required.
Strong familiarity with Agile & Scrum Software Development methodologies.
Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively, with strong skills in motivating staff and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Track record of successful project delivery and effective stakeholder management.
Ability to deliver compelling and effective senior-level presentations and demonstrations in both virtual and live environments.
Ability to remain knowledgeable on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement effective automation and standard processes.
Well-versed in National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), SOC, and other compliance frameworks.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience running operations for an IT GovCon, software/product company a plus. Knowledge of EOS, ISO 9001, CMMI, ISO 27001 is preferred.
Masters degree preferred but not required
