Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

Field Research to include manual labor equipment operations and data collection. Coordinate field research activities with Field Research Services and Branch Station personnel; also for conducting research to determine critical bud temperatures for peaches; collaborating with Project Leader to translate extension publications to Spanish.

A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in horticulture, plant pathology, or related area.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Demands

Willing to bend and lift at least 50 pounds. Willing to work in a laboratory for multiple hours a day. Intermittent out-of-town travel to research plots during the workday.
