The Warehouse Associate (2nd Shift) will perform general warehouse duties. This includes picking and staging inventory to fulfill orders, unloading inventory from delivery trucks, and providing prompt counter service to customers.

This Warehouse (2nd Shift) position is conveniently located at our Derry, NH branch conveniently located at 1 B St, Derry, NH 03038 .

Essential Job Duties

Warehouse
  • Responsible for general warehouse work as directed, including working in any and all departments within the warehouse relating to freight either incoming or outgoing.
  • Accurately fills sales orders or transfers for product and distributes items to shipping or will call.
  • Ensures the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of their work area.
  • Safely operates warehouse tools and equipment.


Inventory Control
  • Accurately marks product or orders with identifying information using appropriate method.
  • Adequately assists in counting of physical inventory.
  • Responsible for accuracy and efficiency in the handling of merchandise.
  • Responsible for properly following procedures relating to checking and double-checking merchandise and the proper reporting of errors.
  • Responsible for properly inspecting all products handled for damage and properly notifying a supervisor in the event damaged product is found.
  • Responsible for promptly reporting inventory discrepancies.
  • Responsible for promptly reporting location discrepancies.


Safety
  • Utilizes safe work processes and compliance with company safety procedures including but not limited to compressed gas tank handling, and two-man lift procedures.
  • When loading vehicles, responsible for securing all products in vehicle properly to prevent shifting or damage to product.
  • Responsible for wearing proper safety gear and equipment.
  • Conducts proper operations and safety inspections on material handling equipment.
  • Performs work duties in a safe manner and adheres to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Promptly corrects and reports unsafe conditions.
  • Promptly reports injuries, accidents, and incidences, and correctly completes proper paperwork in reporting so.


General
  • Responsible to act in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth in the employee handbook, operations manuals, safety handbook, and all other manuals relative to the warehouse
  • Performs facility and vehicle maintenance duties as directed.


Other
  • Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, data notations, queue updates, batching, or other job & office functions and requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements
  • High School diploma or its GED equivalent
  • 1 or more years' experience with warehousing and related functions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
  • Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job.

Warehouse
  • 7-10 hours worked per day; up to 38-45 hours worked per week

  • Using close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Using hands and arms 6-8 hours per day
  • Walking 3-5 hours per day
