In the role of Project Manager Engineering, we'll count on you to:
- Represent HDR as a visible presence in local markets
- Manage delivery of water resource management projects, which may include, but not be limited to, hydrology and hydraulic (H&H) projects, dam and levee projects, and stormwater management projects
- Manage the preparation of studies, alternatives development, analyses, computer models, construction plans, specifications, and reports, working directly with the project owner and/or client
- Direct and coordinate work of staff and single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from project initiation to closeout)
- Produce and coordinate projects concurrently
- Establish and maintain client relationships with multiple client organizations, and be involved with proposal writing and interviews
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
- Coordinate staffing and workload throughout entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
- Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
- Implement QA/QC procedures
- Lead site visits and fieldwork
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- PMP certification

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 7 years related experience
- A minimum 2 years project management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
