Job Description
The Product Manager is responsible for leading 'day to day', 'sprint to sprint' and 'release to release' activities, related to building data products and/or software products/services. The role works with a small to medium agile team to represent the customer in defining requirements within agile ceremonies. The Product Manager must understand the product/service vision by managing and prioritizing the product backlog. Job Summary: The Preferred Product Management Consultant II provides expertise and support for product line launches and implementation in new states and markets including product strategies, rate revisions, new product development, and process improvements. This role also assists with management of existing products to maintain target profitability metrics. Key Responsibilities: Identifies opportunities to improve product strategies, business productivity or service to our agents and customers, recommend solution alternatives, and coordinate with other areas to implement improvements Researches production issues, provides solutions and tracks & monitors progress on any IT fixes needed to resolve issue Anticipates potential problems, develops contingencies and solution alternatives, and recommends a solution with consideration of resources, prioritization and financial impact Acts as liaison between PM and IT & Testers/Business Analysts for product initiatives Leads initiatives for the business and coordinates with the IT on plan development, scheduling and coordinating team member deliverables, monitoring implementation progress, and adjusting when goals are not being met Builds high level IT requirements as needed or provides feedback and support on requirement creation Generates monthly reports and exhibits reflecting growth, retention and profitability metrics Assists in development of new products by helping perform compliance review, competitive analysis and building supporting data analysis/exhibits Works closely with product manager to implement rating plan enhancements and coordinate various state filings Performs industry level research and monitors competitor filing activity within assigned region Collaborates closely with project implementation team and other internal departments to ensure accurate implementation of various projects Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have supervisory duties Preferred Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 2 or more years of related experience preferably with NGIC Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None Functional Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn new applications and systems and process complex data from multiple sources Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with SQL #LI-JH1 #LI-Remote

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $59,800 - 90,540 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
