WJC's Program VISTA

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA will support WJC's 5-yr project to: 1) reduce conflicts affecting student success; 2) decrease behavioral citations, suspensions, etc.; 3) enhance social-emotional learning; 4) better school climate; 5) gather program impact evidence via participatory research; 6) leverage conflict resolution education for academic/career growth. Assist Project Manager in training, PUSD program implementation, coach school teams, empower mediators/facilitators, gather impact data, collaborate with PUSD leadership, provide access to WJC curriculum.
