JOB SUMMARY :
Candidates will provide material and process engineering support for the various engineering and production activities associated with the design, manufacture, and continuing operational safety of aircraft. This may include opportunities in mechanical testing, metallurgical analysis, failure analysis, and design review.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science / Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relative technical field.
Less than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Candidates will provide material and process engineering support for the various engineering and production activities associated with the design, manufacture, and continuing operational safety of aircraft. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Test and evaluate materials and fasteners in relation to design, manufacturing, and safety of the aircraft.
- Perform failure analysis to support engineering and production activities throughout the organization.
- Provide technical support to internal manufacturing operations and suppliers as needed.
- Review design concepts and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare test plans and test reports to support all activities regarding design, manufacturing, and operational items.
- Coordinate cross functionally to develop, revise and maintain engineering specifications.
- Provide M&P technical support to customer service, field engineers, and other necessary functions.
- Participate in development and improvement in test processes and tools.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science / Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relative technical field.
