JOB SUMMARY:
Engineers are responsible for design, development and testing of aircraft furniture, composite panels, environmental air ducts and their installations. Design assignments are executed under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor with an emphasis on meeting and or exceeding customer requirements.

Engineers are responsible for design, development and testing of aircraft furniture, composite panels, environmental air ducts and their installations. Design assignments are executed under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor with an emphasis on meeting and or exceeding customer requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates engineering drawing packages using CATIA V5 or V6
- Uses technical skills and principles to develop solutions to common engineering problems
- Designs and assists in the fabrication of prototypes components for testing
- Assists in the creation of test procedures and coordination of testing
- Works well in a cross-functional and diverse team environment
- Actively works to improve daily processes and ensures all work meets or exceeds customer requirements
- Develops and maintains a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company products and processes.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree required in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Other related field
- Engineering experience or relative aviation technical experience preferred
- Less than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional and diplomatic demeanor
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of accountability and integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects
- Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in CATIA V5 or V6 is preferred
- Builds and maintains constructive relationships
- Quickly grasps new concepts when faced with unfamiliar tasks
