JOB SUMMARY:

Working with Aircraft Servicing Centers, Candidates will become members of the Service Center Sales team to accomplish goals in creating, maintaining, and growing customer relations. Candidate will have exposure to better understand overall sales strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare metrics and reports as requested by leadership team, to include but not limited to monthly activity reporting
  • Assist with development of sales promotions to meet targets and be responsible for coordination with the Customer Service Marketing team
  • Develop, implement and maintain contractual templates in coordination with the sales team to meet departmental objectives
  • Gain an understanding of all support areas within Customer Service
  • Provide data research support for current sales teams
  • Maintain customer database in conjunction with sales team
  • Complete data analysis for future strategies and promotions
  • When necessary, complete market research through customer follow up
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of all aftermarket sales processes and functions through rotational program
  • Rotate through all functions of the aftermarket sales department to gain an understanding of the team as a whole
  • Assist in the planning and development of sales meetings and training


EDUCATION:

Pursuing bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or other related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Private Pilot's license, A&P license, or previous aerospace experience is desirable
  • Technical knowledge of aircraft is a plus
  • Professional and diplomatic demeanor
  • Geographic mobility preferred


Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
