Account Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Account Manager/Project Manager for a Mechanical Contractor in Madison, WI. This person is going to be replacing an existing sales person retiring to take over their territory and relationships to continue developing a sales pipeline and help generate revenue for the business + oversee active projects. They will be:
- Maintaining customer relationship
- Outline plans & specs with customers to create quotes based on specs
- Review jobs going out for bid
Some projects such as design/build will be customized versus some jobs are lowest bid and this person must work to create competitive pricing. This is a full time role that will require in person client meetings, strong knowledge of the mechanical & controls industry and the ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline.

Required Skills & Experience

3 years of experience within mechanical or controls sales
Basic Project management skills & the ability to oversee contractors and technicians
Foundational understanding of controls and HVAC Mechanical products
Strong relationship development skills
Experience with Microsoft suite
