Corporate & Season tickets Account Manager

BallparkDigest.com has named Big Top Baseball, the parent organization of the Madison Mallards, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, Kenosha Kingfish and Green Bay Bullfrogs, their 2014 Organization of the Year. After selling out 22-36 games during its inagural season, the second year franchise sold out 30-36 games in 2015 and won the Northwoods League Summer Collegiate World Series, being named the #1 summer collegiate team in the nation.
This position will target local CEO's and decision-makers to sell corporate group outings and VIP season ticket packages. The corporate account manager is responsible for a specific territory and will focus primarily on outside ticket sales. We are looking for energetic, competitive individuals who excel with in-person communication. Competitive benefits included.

Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:
- Utilize sales techniques to sell ticketing inventory
- Develop new sales leads and actively prospect daily
- Maintain call logs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Provide superior service to clients, existing ticket holders, prospects and single game customers
- Upgrade and up sell clients into different categories and ticket packages
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
- All other duties as assigned by Ticket Sales Manager
Qualification Standards:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college
- Prior experience working in the sports industry is preferred
- Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is preferred
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Highly motivated with a desire to meet and exceed stipulated goals
- Customer service oriented
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
- Passionate about baseball and sports in general
