Our Corporate Accounts Receivable department seeks an outgoing and energetic accountant or associate accountant. This role will focus on assisting a team of accounting professionals in daily and monthly accounts receivable processing and reporting for our property and casualty companies. You will learn to use accounting software systems and analytical tools. You will perform accounting reconciliations, system testing and research techniques to comply with Insurance Accounting rules and payment regulations.
The pay range for the associate accountant position is $60,000 - $65,000 annually. The pay range for our accountant position is $65,000 - $70,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:
- validate transactions from multiple billing applications are in sync with financial reporting software
- perform financial analyses and support accounting processes
- prepare daily and monthly accounting entries and validate banking transactions
- conduct testing and validation of system change requests
- perform bad debt analysis and account reconciliations
- participate in accounting and enterprise-level projects that support the company in maintaining our competitive edge
Be equipped with:
- strong attention to detail, organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- a willingness and ability to learn and use accounting and analytical software systems
- the ability to effectively use Microsoft® Excel
- good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- the ability to work independently or collaboratively without hesitation to ask questions
- a demonstrated aptitude to lead and embrace change
- bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 0 to 2+ years of Accounting experience or equivalent relevant work experience
- previous accounting-related internship experience (preferred)
