Full job description:
- Mill ticket entry into QuickBooks.
- Generate weekly timber tract status report.
- Process daily/ weekly transfers between main account and timber account.
- Assist owners with weekly cash projections.
- Process main company monthly payroll.
- Monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with 401k Administration and employee benefits.
- Assist owners with quarterly bonus paperwork for Foresters.
- Processing of monthly / quarterly payroll taxes and related forms.
- Processing of annual 1099 forms.
- Open and distribute mail.
- Processing account payable invoices and payments.
- Processing account receivable invoices
- Assisting with processing tax returns, filing taxes with the state and preparing tax estimates.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- QuickBooks experience is required
- Excel experience is required
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a small office setting easily.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
- Preferences for bachelor's degree in accounting / business, Minimum requirements is Associates Degree in Accounting / Business
- Minimum of 5 years Bookkeeping experience required.
