Accounts Payable Specialist

In this role, you will review, verify, sort, match, and enter invoices, ensuring that sales tax is appropriately charged before entry into the accounting system. You will maintain vendor information and files, correspond with vendors, and respond to their inquiries. Additionally, you will manage vendor releases and notice to owner information. The position also involves making photocopies, scanning documents, and performing other clerical functions as assigned, along with any other duties that may arise.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
6+ months of experience in bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency in MS office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Must be organized, analytical and have ability to focus on details
Ability to analyze information and spreadsheets

Experience with Vista ViewPoint
