Job Description
This position will carry out instruction for the UMKC School of Medicine Clinical Practice of Medicine (CPM) 1 and 2 courses offered in the fall and spring, respectively. The position requires being in-person and on-site at the UMKC School of Medicine in St. Joseph, Missouri. This individual will primarily teach clinical skills in weekly workshops for medical students at the St. Joseph campus.
Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. with clinical patient experience.

School of Medicine - St. Joseph Campus
Job Description
This position will carry out instruction for the UMKC School of Medicine Clinical Practice of Medicine (CPM) 1 and 2 courses offered in the fall and spring, respectively. The position requires being in-person and on-site at the UMKC School of Medicine in St. Joseph, Missouri. This individual will primarily teach clinical skills in weekly workshops for medical students at the St. Joseph campus.
- Work with the course directors and course coordinators for CPM 1 and 2 to schedule activities for workshops associated with these courses.
- Coordinate learning activities between the Kansas City and St. Joseph campus sites for comparable experiences between campuses.
- Teach the clinical workshops at the St. Joseph campus or help arrange faculty instructors for those workshops that may be out of the area of expertise.
- Provide preparatory or introductory material for workshops as needed (pre-recorded videos, video links, helpful resources, etc.).
- Provide mentoring and feedback for students who may be struggling with clinical skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
