The State Water Resources Control Board's Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has an opening for an Environmental Program Manager II in the Surface Water/Regulatory Branch. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 15 Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.
Under the general direction of the Deputy Director, Division of Water Quality (DWQ), and consistent with the State Water Resources Control Board and nine Regional Water Quality Control Boards' Strategic Plan, the incumbent oversees the Surface Water/ Regulatory Branch and assists the Deputy Director in developing policy; planning, directing, and coordinating the work of the Division. Consistent with good customer service practices, the incumbent is expected to be courteous and provide excellent customer service, follow through on commitments, and to solicit and consider internal/external stakeholder input when performing the duties of this position.
