MEG serves a vital role in supporting the IBS Enterprise, providing continuity in skills crucial to support military operations. MEG integrates the talents and skills of team members to form an IBS Enterprise Support Services Team to provide world-class IBS customer support.

The AFSO will assist the FSO with the implementation and oversight of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The AFSO will be the primary for Personnel Security but will assist in other areas as needed.

Duties and functions are to include but are not limited to:

• Process incoming and outgoing employees.

• Ensure security trainings are conducted with staff and training records are properly maintained.

• Maintain personnel security files.

• Process SEAD 3 and other reporting.

• Process incoming and outgoing VARs and foreign travel requests.

• Process courier letters and assist with contacting TSA as needed.

• Assist the FSO with Incident reports.

• Manage the facility badges for employees and visitors to include monthly audits.

• Conduct monthly inspections.

• Ensure CUI is followed.

• Assist with document control and classified material inventory.

• Assist with security assessments.

• Maintain employee badges and accesses in DSX system

• Assist with the development and/or implementation of procedures and practices to cover multiple security objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-3 years' experience in Personnel Security

• Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills

• Security Clearance: Requires an Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

• Team / mission success oriented

• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

Desired Experience:

• Facility Security Officer (FSO) Certification for Possessing Facilities (not a deal breaker but expected to obtain within 6 months of hire)

• Familiar with government security program management, including Defense Information System and Security (DISS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)/eAPP (electronic Application) system.

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments, and effectively manage deadlines.
