Position Summary:

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a dedicated and experienced DBT Psychologist to join our team at the Wauwatosa Clinic. This role involves providing specialized psychological services using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and collaborative team-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on DBT principles.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing DBT techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Offer consultation and support to other healthcare professionals regarding DBT interventions.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives as appropriate.

Position Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Wisconsin.
- Extensive training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Strong clinical skills and experience working with individuals with complex emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
