The person in the role is an SME with business domain and products knowledge, analytical skills, and structured approach to define requirements, create the functional design, and validate the systemic capabilities, and processes. The person knows how to operate in the most efficient and secure IT environment and meet the company's business needs. The role will work with stakeholders to discuss, understand, and translate the business needs into IT solutions. The person will ensure that the business and IT are in alignment by linking the business mission, strategy, and processes to IT strategy, and architecture.

The role is accountable for functional design, and for collaborating with Architecture and Solutions team within the Payments and Commercial eco-systems: front end, Payments Processing, and vendor products. The scope covers Commercial / Treasury Solutions roadmap including upgrades and enhancements to vendor products and bank software for payables, receivables, and liquidity products. The responsibility also includes the data and system integrations, in support of the end-to-end business processes.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

Develops understanding of key strategies, business drivers, and business objectives to research technology landscape and recommends enhancements of technology solutions. Reviews existing business processes and establishes metrics to improve business processes, as well as support of all design and solution disciplines under their direction.

Shares best practices, lessons learned and constantly updates the technical system requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current, and upcoming vendor products and solutions.

Develops a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from current to future state (as defined in partnership with IT/Business leadership).

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years of technical experience in software design, development, architecture, and application support functions.

• Strong background in IT project management

• Strong systems thinker, communicator and capable liaison between technology, operations and business teams

• Expertise in commercial banking and treasury services - payables, receivables and liquidity products including but not limited to integrated payables, card products, remote deposit capture, mobile deposit, sweep products, positive pay, etc.

• Experience with Service Now, Jira and Confluence - or similar tools.

• Three years' experience in a senior system analysts' role.

Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated experience of defining architecture and data management strategies to support the business' strategy.

Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and information security practices.

Knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Governance best practices.

Demonstrated applied knowledge of enterprise application delivery mechanisms and requirements.

Ability to influence and guide peers, subordinates and management.

Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.

Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with multiple levels of the organizational structure. A desire to apply their development experience to a broader set of business, non-functional, and process-oriented concerns and less from thinking in terms of code and classes.

Maximum:

$120,000.00 USD
