Under direct supervision of the Lead Systems Analyst, provides advanced system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware, and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Imaging client PC systems and applications for both on-site and off-site locations. Writes, updates, enhances, maintains, and distributes user documentation and procedures as needed. Requires advanced knowledge of systems analysis, good customer service and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, learn new tools and technologies and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

The Systems Analyst role includes, but is not limited to:

Human Capital Management:

• Demonstrating "Customer Service" philosophy when interacting with employees and business partners.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, and other hospital personnel, to facilitate day to day operations as well as furthering the educational mission of MGH e.g. Partners Network Engineering, Information Security and Server Support teams.

• Attendance at tradeshows and conferences relevant to the position (RSNA, Etc) as deemed necessary.

• Attends and participates in Departmental/Hospital meetings.

• Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.

Business Process Management:

• Collects information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.

• Perform workflow mapping for various Systems Tasks. (Image Creation, System Deployment, etc)

Perform data mapping to identify system dependencie

• Documents the system architecture and dataflow that supports Imaging.

• Ensures all Department, Hospital, JCAHO, and OIG compliance guidelines are met.

Systems / Application Management:

• Ability to plan, test, implement and troubleshoot system software and hardware including network connectivity and system peripherals.

• Troubleshoot / repair hardware and software problems.

• Install patches / upgrades to Desktop / Office based applications.

• Coordinates with System Administrators on mission critical application issues.

• Provide training and documentation instructions for hardware and software operation for clinical systems.

• Provide phone, e-mail, on-site, and off-site direct user support as required.

• Investigates, plans, implements, tests, and debugs operating system software.

• Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration.

• Provides advanced technical assistance and maintenance support to departmental end users.

• Records and maintains hardware and software inventories for ender user license agreements.

• Performs problem resolution and provides on-call support for computer/network systems.

• Perform End to End testing of Workflow Mapping and Data Mapping

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to manage priorities independently.

• Required to participate in intra and inter-departmental project teams as needed.

Project Management:

• Responsible for communicating to project sponsors, stakeholders, team members and Imaging Leadership all relative project information.

• Incorporates standard deliverables for "People", "Process" and "Technology" components for every project.

• Owns the development, management and execution of all project plans and schedules.

• Identifies, escalates, and manages project risks and issues to resolution.

• Responsible for project administration to include but not limited to, scheduling meetings, reserving conference rooms and conference dial in numbers, creating and distribution of agendas, meeting minutes, schedules, risk/issues logs and status reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 8 thru Windows 10

• Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

• Knowledge of Apple/Mac

• Strong understanding of Windows Server 2012 and 2019

• Advanced scripting knowledge

• Hands on expertise in system image creation and maintenance.

• Basic understanding of network architecture and protocol

• Knowledge of a broad range of relevant multi-user computer systems, applications, and/or equipment.

• Understanding of computer security procedures and policie

• Knowledge of federal copyright laws as they pertain to the use of computer software.

• Basic knowledge of Network Administration.

• A valid driver's license is required.
