The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a psychologist to meet the behavioral health needs of youth with neurological conditions served in multidisciplinary medical specialty clinics, including the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and the Brain Recovery After Injury (BRAIN) Health and Wellness Center (BHWC), which serves youth who have sustained a concussion or traumatic brain injury. There are also opportunities to expand outpatient services for neurologic conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, TBI, and neuromuscular diseases.

Responsibilities for this position include conducting brief assessment, consultation, and tailored evidence-based interventions for patients ranging from infants to young adults and their families within the context of their medical visits, as well as evaluation and treatment in outpatient therapy.

Ideal candidates will have completed a doctorate in clinical psychology (APA accredited) and be license-eligible in Ohio. Candidates should have experience with evidence-based treatments for adjustment to medical conditions, adherence difficulties, pain management, anxiety, depression, and behavior management. Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

• PhD degree in a related scientific or research field

• Five years related experience in research field research and/or Lab experience AND assisting with the preparation of data for presentation at scientific meeting

• Associate or Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility required
