The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking an outstanding clinician to join in the Heart and Mind Wellbeing Center within the Heart Institute.

The Heart and Mind Wellbeing Center provides inpatient, outpatient, group, and telehealth-based psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults with congenital or pediatric heart conditions and their families. Responsibilities for this position include providing evidence-based clinical care to patients of all ages and stages, their caregivers, and other family members, as well as program development and co-design of innovative approaches to delivering psychological care embedded within the context of cardiac care.

The ideal candidate will have completed a doctorate in pediatric or clinical psychology (APA accredited), and be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio, with a preference for candidates with training or experience working with children with congenital heart disease and their families. Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine OR equivalent

• Unrestricted licensed physician

• Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division

• Completion of all required pre-employment activitie

• Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility

• Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the department
