Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a psychologist to join our short-term outpatient therapy team to implement treatment for various mental health concerns. Direct patient care includes seeing patients for 45-minute sessions twice weekly for approximately five weeks using evidence-based treatment (EBT) modalities. Families are typically referred as a step-up to care from traditional outpatient therapy settings.

Responsibilities for this position include providing intervention with a focus on family and individual evidenced based treatment for youth presenting with behavior and/or anxiety/mood symptoms. The position would provide direct patient care Monday through Friday, dedicated weekly consultation with other mental health providers, and have opportunities to be involved in publications, and presentations at national conferences.

The ideal candidate will have completed a doctorate in clinical or school psychology (APA accredited), be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio, and have experience in CBT and/or DBT. Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine OR equivalent

• Unrestricted licensed physician

• Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division

• Completion of all required pre-employment activitie

• Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility

• Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the department
