Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all phases of audit or review engagements across multiple projects concurrently.
  • Foster ongoing communication with clients, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business and control systems, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Keep engagement Directors or Partners informed of significant developments on client accounts, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues.
  • Ensure proper scheduling of engagements and adhere to budgets for assigned Assurance and Advisory projects; investigate and explain budget overruns to Directors or Partners and seek change order opportunities.
  • Review financial statements and other client deliverables.
  • Provide direction, training, supervision, and review of work performed by senior accountants and staff accountants.
  • Play a key role in staff performance evaluations, reviews, and periodic counseling.
  • Contribute to the Firm's Business Development efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in public accounting.
  • Current and valid CPA license.
  • Willingness to travel to assigned client locations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent prioritization skills, capable of meeting deadlines and multitasking efficiently.
  • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the United States, United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.
  • Proficiency in directing, reviewing, and training staff, experienced staff, and seniors.
