Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of audit or review engagements across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Cultivate and maintain ongoing client relationships, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses and control systems.
  • Communicate important developments to engagement Directors or Partners, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Ensure proper scheduling of engagements and adherence to budgets, investigating and addressing budget overruns while seeking opportunities for change orders.
  • Review financial statements and other client deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide direction, training, and supervision to senior accountants and staff accountants, playing a pivotal role in performance evaluations and counseling.
  • Contribute to the firm's Business Development efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in public accounting.
  • Current and valid CPA license.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and multitask efficiently.
  • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.
  • Experience in directing, reviewing, and training staff across various levels.
