What you do:Under minimal supervision, monitors and administers the completion of the annual audit plan. Serves as work director / supervisor on audit and consultative engagements including: scheduling of resources in collaboration with the other audit managers, provide mentoring and training to others in the department, serve as an expert on the audit process, review all audit deliverables including work papers and reports, ensure completeness and compliance with Group Policies and Institute of Internal Auditors Standards, and manage to the established time table. You will help implement creative solutions and best practices throughout the department. Helps execute the strategic direction of the department. Provides administrative supervision and performance management to team members. You will report to the Internal Audit AVP.
  • Supervise individual contributors within the IA department during assigned engagements including training, coaching and performance management
  • Serve as work director on audits and consultative engagements including review and approval of deliverables
  • Provide tactical management of the annual audit plan including scheduling and monitoring to ensure timely completion of the plan
  • Serve as the team manager of the respective domain, facilitating a learning environment on pertinent business topics and risk exposures
  • Serve as the key contact between the business and internal audit including senior management levels
  • Ensure compliance with Group, Internal Audit and IIA standards and processes
  • Support effective remediation activities for important risk exposures and audit findings


What you bring:
  • 6-7 years' experience required including working in a corporate setting with a minimum of 2 years of Audit or insurance industry related experience required
  • Some project management and/or people leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • CIA, CPA CISA, or CMA required or ability to obtain within 24 months of employment
