What you do:You will manage assigned life insurance applications through the new business and underwriting process. As the main advocate and single point of contact for designated relationships, you will be the liaison, managing the customer relationship and finding solutions, between internal partners (Life Distribution, Policy Administration, Contracting, etc) and field partners. We ask that you have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in addition to being a strong problem solver applying knowledge of business guidelines, controls, regulations, products, processes and customer relationships. You will influence department results by establishing customer relationships (internal and external), ensuring a high degree of productivity and quality, recommending process improvements, increasing digital adoption and meeting/exceeding all benchmarks/KPIs. You will report into the Operations Manager.
• Respond to, prioritize and manage customer inquiries by phone and email by applying knowledge of guidelines, controls, regulations, products, processes and customer relationships. Following established practices and standards while meeting/exceeding benchmarks/service levels. Manage escalations, special requests, and customer service issues.
• Review all cases on pre-determined rhythm. Ensure smooth processing, identifying and escalating opportunities to increase speed, shorten cycle time, enhance ease of doing business, build relationships and earn more business through good service. Initiate consistent, clear communications with customers by telephone and email.
• Seek service and process improvements, identify and analyze trends for proposed changes to ensure accuracy and ease of business. Applying process knowledge to proactively anticipate customer needs, identifying any potential issues, recommending and facilitating actions toward resolution.
• Maintain detailed notes and documentation and a deep understanding of case specifics, policies and procedures, industry regulations, best practices and knowledge of assigned relationships.

What you bring:
• 2+ years of experience in relationship management and customer service
• Two-year degree required or equivalent experience
