Insight Global is looking for an Automation Engineer to join one of our automotive clients in the metro Detroit area. The Automation Engineer in this role is going to be responsible for automating final assembly machinery processes.
Responsibilities in this role include:
* Assisting with applications and design to automate assembly processes
* Troubleshooting and debugging machinery
* Writing purchase orders
* Working cross functionally with other teams within final assembly
* Traveling to different suppliers within North America

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* 5+ years of experience as an automation engineer
* 5+ years of experience working within the automotive industry
* 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and debugging machinery
* 3D CAD systems experience and teamcenter
* Experience using Ariba
