Banking Program Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Banking Program Manager to join a premier credit union based in Mclean, VA . The Banking Program Manager will lead the rollout and implementation of a member loyalty program. This position will be hybrid in Mclean, VA!

Responsibilities of the Banking Program Manager include:

• Lead the development and implementation of the loyalty program, ensuring it aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
• Work collaboratively with various business units and technology groups to gather and integrate their requirements and interests.
• Refine the high-level vision of the program, ensuring it is actionable and aligns with the organization's values and customer expectations.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and present the program effectively to stakeholders at various levels.
• Manage the program lifecycle from inception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Utilize qualitative skills to make informed decisions and drive the program forward.
• Possess a humble approach with strong soft skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Take ownership of the program, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring accountability.

Qualifications for the Banking Program Manager include:

• Proven experience in launching and managing complex programs, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of program management principles and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to IT workflow management and the ability to navigate technical discussions, though this is not a technical project management role.
• Excellent documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead program launches from start to finish, with a focus on personal leadership and initiative.
• Experience in both the commercial and government sectors is advantageous, but not a hard requirement.
• A track record of successfully leading and managing program launches, with detailed examples of personal leadership in such initiatives.

Compensation for the Banking Program Manager includes:

• Salary: $145,000 - $160,000 $45/hr - $50/hr
