Billing Specialist

This candidate will be working as a Billing Specialist supporting a large regional storm response/construction company that is based near Huntsville, AL. Their primary responsibility would be working with and collecting payments from their subcontractors and vendors handling their storm response efforts. They have upwards of 2000-3000 workers in the field at any one time depending on the severity of the storm. They would need to have great attention to detail as they will need to confirm hours worked and the correct invoice amounts. There will be a daily team meeting to go over priorities for the day. The salary range is between $65,000-$75,000 depending on experience.

2-3 years of experience working in billing, AP/AR, payroll, etc.
Flexibility with schedule (industry is storm response, could be overtime opportunity)
Strong analytical background
Great attention to detail

Smartsheets
T&D (transmission & distribution) or general utilities experience
Union-based background
