Job Description

Purpose of Position:

The Grants Analyst will report to the Budget Director, Finance, and will be responsible for the preparation of various grants and operational budget reports, conduct financial analysis and provide support to the Finance Leadership on budgetary, financial processes, and grant budget program as needed. Under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment and initiative, assist in the planning, organizing, controlling, and coordinating of administrative and office operations in a variety of organizational settings and modalities in the delivery of business and management support systems, health care, and patient support systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor grant administration and grant accounting compliance with federal and state requirements, as well as any policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with grant stipulations and program progress through on-site evaluations and reviews of plans and reports.
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative to perform a variety of detailed grants management functions.
  • Collects and manages required financial and program documents for agency audit and reimbursement purposes
  • Provide centralized financial administration and coordination of grant activities, including accurate accounting, financial compliance, and required federal and state compliance
  • Assists in planning for the service/program through consultation with management and professional staff and other associated healthcare fields to coordinate joint patient and management objectives.
  • Serves as liaison between department administrative, technical and professional divisions and Central Office management.


Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in hospital administration, health care administration, public health or a related discipline; or
2. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in "1" above, and one (1) year of administrative experience; or
3. An equivalent combination of training, college education and experience in related fields.
