Business Analyst III

A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a fully remote "seasoned BA" with heavy IT and technical experience in the St. Louis area. This position will focus on business analysis as part of the Student Data Program, whose focus is bringing in student-related data from many different source systems into the WashU Data Warehouse for reporting purposes. Specifically, this position will focus on data analysis related to higher education admissions and learning management systems, building requirements for new data coming into the warehouse from these systems, analyzing existing data warehouse components (i.e. cross-domain reporting requirements), and facilitating user acceptance testing.

Required Skills & Experience

Understanding of data warehouse concepts
Experience developing data and process flows
Ability to create detailed requirements documentation
Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and business case development

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Cognos & Tableau)
Working within a matrix organization
