An agency in Tallahassee, Fl is looking for a Business Analyst to be a member of the PALM remediation team. They will be expected to work across multiple business units to perform business and detailed systems analysis activities and tasks. They will coordinate with subject matter experts to document requirements. They will also develop test plans, perform test/quality assurance activities, and closely coordinate with other remediation team members.

Pay Rate: $49 - $52/hr

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business administration, Communication, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid business/systems analysis experience and software development projects is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required.
• Experience with data migration.
• Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques.
• Ability to perform detailed research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, process modeling. Use of software tools is required and include, but are not limited to, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Visio.
• Ability to perform System Analysis & Design using a variety of modeling methodologies and techniques.
• Ability to expertly facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders.
• Technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and software development practices and techniques.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft products: SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Project.
• Ability to relate to stakeholders' needs, document their requirements, and perform duties in the absence of staff.
• Ability to receive and give constructive criticism and maintain effective work relationships with others.
• Ability to adjust to changing demands in a dynamic environment with diverse work assignments.

Desired:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 - 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code
• Experience working with M icrosoft DevOps
• Knowledge of change and release management

Responsibilities:

• Research and understand the agency's business processes and their inter-relationships.
• Research and document impacts on agency business systems in relation to the PALM implementation.
• Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with data migration and development teams.
• Create detailed use cases, business rules, and requirements.
• Develop Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts.
• Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards.
