Business Analyst Intro
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The preferred location for this role is Austin, TX, but we are open to remote candidates if no suitable fit is found in Schwab locations. This is a 12-month contract position with a maximum rate of $78 per hour. The anticipated start date is 7/22/2024.

Business Analyst Job Details
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding requirements and stories to bring to Scrum teams for development. You will ask critical questions to the Product Owner (PO) and Scrum team members to better understand the functionality and help document the business functional requirements. You will facilitate pre-refinement discussions with the PO and Scrum Master (SM) to prepare and finish stories, ensuring that requirements are clear and testable. You will also create spreadsheets of stories prior to JIRA tickets to facilitate categorization and prioritization. Additionally, you will review the backlog, take inventory of work still in the backlog, and work with the PO to document initiatives, epics, and stories to support PI Planning.

Business Analyst Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience
- Minimum 4-8 years of experience
- Proficiency in JIRA and Excel
- Experience working on backlogs and working tickets
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in matrixed or corporate environments

Business Analyst Desired Skills
- Experience with Deloitte, Wider Circle, Sysco, Accenture, and Salesforce
- Ability to prioritize work in each sprint and stay 2-3 sprints ahead
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
