One of our clients is seeking a HYBRID, Memphis local, candidate for a Business Operations Analyst contract role.

This role includes but is not limited to -
TECHNICAL SKILLS
1. Data Analysis:
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Advanced skills in using data analysis tools such as Excel.
2. Project Management:
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Experience in tracking project progress and driving tasks to completion.
3. IT Knowledge:
- Familiarity with IT operations, systems, and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with IT key performance metrics (lagging and leading indicators)
4. Reporting:
- Ability to create comprehensive and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
- Proficiency in report generation tools and techniques (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI,).

ANALYTICAL SKILLS
1. Critical Thinking:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Ability to think strategically and translate data into actionable recommendations.
2. Attention to Detail:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and report generation.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
3. Business Acumen:
- Understanding of key business metrics and how they relate to IT performance.
- Ability to align IT activities with business objectives and goals.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
1. Written Communication:
- Excellent writing skills to create clear, concise, and comprehensive reports and documentation.
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills to create impactful and meaningful product deliverables
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
2. Verbal Communication:
- Strong verbal communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and discussions effectively.
3. Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across different departments.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with IT and business teams.

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
1. Time Management:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
2. Detail Orientation:
- Methodical approach to organizing data and documentation.
- Ability to maintain comprehensive records and ensure consistency.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business operations analysis, data analysis, or a related field, preferably within an IT environment.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with IT Management software and tools
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills to create impactful and meaningful product deliverables
- Understanding of key business metrics and how they relate to IT performance.
- Proficiency in report generation tools and techniques (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI,)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

A masters degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, CBAP) is a plus.
- Trustworthy and reliable in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (local to Memphis remote and on campus 2-3 days per week or as needed)
(working knowledge of business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI) is a plus).
