JOB SUMMARY:

Under limitedsupervision, consult users in the area of automated systems. Provide technical expertise in identifying,evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective andmeet user requirements. Work cross-functionally to deliver system functionalityin support of streamlined and efficient processes. Drive and challenge leaders to get to acollaborative approach to successfully execute plans. Configure system settingsand options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing; andcreate specifications for systems to meet business requirements.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownand enforce project deadlines and schedules.
  • Analyzecomplex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Assess business process and systeminefficiencies. Critically evaluateinformation gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decomposehigh-level information into details. Design details of automated systems.
  • Developrequirements specifications according to standard templates. Document functional specifications for systemsolutions and enhancements to existing business systems.
  • Recommendand implement configuration changes to improve the overall efficiency of systemprocessing. Develop and operationalprocesses and/or process improvements.
  • Workwith analysts and managers to translate new requirements into design and implementation. Document functional specifications for systemsolutions and enhancements to existing business systems.
  • Leadactivities between business and IT team with UAT and end-users to develop andexecute appropriate test plan to verify configuration changes work asintended. Assist in quality assuranceand defining testing strategy and risks. Contribute to testing and debugging of system enhancements.
  • Develop,maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and systemintegrity.
  • Createtraining materials and train new employees.
  • Workingwith large datasets, develop reports and dashboards.


Education

  • Bachelor'sdegree.


Relevant Work Experience

  • Atleast 4 years of data, business and/or systems analyst experience to includetranslating between business and technical requirements.
  • Experiencewith structured querying language (SQL).
  • Experienceapplying knowledge of relational database schemas.

  • Experiencedocumenting technical processes into digestible formats.
  • Experiencecommunicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Experiencediagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending andimplementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experienceusing time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and trackingdetails and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completiondates.
  • Experienceanalyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptionsto drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Advancedskills in Microsoft Excel.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Business or Information Technology related field.
  • Experienceworking with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify andimplement solutions to complex problems.
