The Cannabis Program at the Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking a motivated person to perform a variety of entry level administrative functions in a collaborative work environment. The classification for this position is Staff Services Analyst. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and function logically and creatively in an inclusive and collaborative environment. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and training by collaborating with high performing teams who are leading the nation in addressing environmental impacts related to cannabis operations.

Working Conditions
This position is eligible for hybrid telework, dependent on operational need, and will be required to report to the assigned office at least twice per week. The position requires the use of a computer for several hours each day, the completion of office tasks that require sitting, standing, and walking to other locations; attendance at meetings and participation in conference calls. Office and field work may require a uniform. Moderate travel is required within the state of California via private or public transportation (i.e., automobile, airplane, etc.) and may include multiple day overnight stay up to three (3) days, dependent on operational need.
