The Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) is seeking a motivated individual to be part of the Central Training Bureau (CTB), Licensing Training Unit (LTU). The selected incumbent will be part of a cohesive team tasked with planning, developing, and delivering live and virtual classroom style training to CCLD staff on licensing-specific topics that include all aspects of Licensing Program Analyst field duties in the Adult and Senior Care, Child Care, and Children's Residential Programs. Incumbent will also conduct structured ad-hoc trainings as needed, such as special academies and workshops on licensing specific topics.

Under the direction/supervision of the SSM I in LTU, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA)/Staff Services Analyst (SSA) will work with a team to assist in the planning, development and delivery of classroom-style training and online/virtual training. This may include developing structured lesson plans preparing training materials, coordinating training logistics and guest speakers, and participating in special projects.

Applicants should have experience with classroom-style training, online/virtual training, curriculum development, knowledge of CCLD licensing laws, regulations and procedures, good verbal, and written communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, and experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and other common software programs. Individuals with experience and knowledge of licensing rules and regulations in CCLD Adult and Senior Care, Child Care, and Children's Residential Programs and/or a teaching background are highly desirable and will be given priority consideration.

The incumbent will report to Sacramento Headquarters in Northern California located at 744 P Street, Sacramento, CA. 95814 or the El Segundo Regional Office in Southern California located at 300 Continental Blvd., El Segundo, CA. 90245.

  • Travel : This position may require up to 30 percent travel.
  • Telework : This position is a hybrid work schedule which includes up to two days of remote work per week and will require the candidate to work two days a weekin the office. Additional office days may be required based on the businessneeds.

  • This position may be eligible for Hybrid telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California.
