Why does the job exist?

The CASA/Line Manager will:
  • Supervise a unit of Family Assistance Analysts (FAAs I/FAAs II) along with Office Clerks Gen O/Gen A, overseeing the day-to-day operations.


How does it get done?

The CASA Line Manager is responsible for:
  • Supervising Family Assistance Analysts (FAAs I, II) and Office Clerks Gen O/Gen A managing the day-to-day operations of the CASA unit;
  • Mentoring and training staff as needed with linking documents using perceptive content, MAVRO, and Certain Scan;
  • Providing guidance, coaching, data analysis, and employee evaluations, growth and disciplinary actions, employee morale;
  • Data Entry and record keeping and other computer software (Aspen, Perceptive Content, MAVRO );
  • Adherence to policies and procedures, and federal time frames;
  • Operate other office equipment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has experience:
  • Supervising, mentoring, coaching, knowledge with employee evaluations, team building, disciplinary action;
  • With computer systems, such as: ASPEN, Perceptive Content, MAVRO, OPEX Machines, Data entry, Microsoft Suites;
  • And exceptional verbal and written communication;
  • Complying with federal and/or state regulations;
  • Organizing and being detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple demands on your time simultaneously;
  • Providing technical expertise, consultation, and training;
  • Maintaining confidential records/information.


Minimum Qualification

A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of professional level experience operating within limited parameters and guidelines directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience. A hiring agency will designate a portion of the required experience to include supervisory and/or specialized experience. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above requirements.
